Job summary/Role description

The project concerning the expansion of the Gdansk Refinery aimed at improving its crude processing capability as well as ensuring higher quality and energy-efficient fuels and relates to the execution of a hydrocracking unit (Hydrocracked Base Oil Plant) with associated logistic facilities, which will allow the production of Group II base oils. This innovative plant will be the second one in Europe and will be capable of treating better performing base oil groups, with a lower environmental impact.

 

HR Assistant assists HR Coordinator with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).

  • Prepare new employee files (preparation of contracts, onboarding, help with day-to-day queries, etc.).

  • Responsible for preparing and accurate entry of source information into payroll.

  • Keeping up to date with changes in payroll and labor legislation.

  • Work in HR systems including Success Factors.

  • Working in compliance with all company procedures and related standards of work.

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to HR Coordinator.

  • Assist in process of obtaining visas and/or other permits.

  • Communicate with public services.

 

 

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in the specific discipline.

  • Knowledge of payroll processes and labor regulations.

  • Solid command of MS Office.

  • HR-related or administration work experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Native Polish speaker.

  • Fluent English.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent IT and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to details.

  • Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
