Job summary/Role description

He/she  is  involved  in  the  engineering  and  development  of  the  plant  Control  Systems  and  Safety Instrumented Systems.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities
  • - During the execution of a project, the duties of Engineer are:
  • ·To produce technical documentation assigned, guaranteeing the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions.
  • ·To attend to technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Group for new Design techniques.
  • ·To keep himself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline.
  • ·To improve his/her knowledge and skill in using the CAE tools.
  • ·To  prepare,  under  the  supervision  of  a  Project  Leader  or  a  Specialist,  specifications,  material requisitions, technical evaluations and engineering deliverables for Control systems.
  • ·To verify and comment the Vendor drawings developed during the project execution.
  • ·To attend to the Factory Acceptance Test of the Control Systems.

·To attend (when required) to the system power on and site acceptance test of Control Systems at plant site.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

·       University degree or equivalent Study background.

Experience

·       Management experience for an EPC company in for, at least, two plants as DCS Instrumentation Engineer / Specialist (IDE)

·       Plants for the gas treatment

·       Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

·       Attention to detail, management skills

·       Team-oriented skills,  self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
