Job summary/Role description

The project concerns the three EPC contracts relating to the world-class fourth expansion phase (Borouge 4) of the Ruwais polyolefins complex in Ruwais, located about 240 km west of Abu Dhabi City (Abu Dhabi, UAE). The scope of work entails complete engineering services, equipment and material supply, erection and construction activities, commissioning, and start-up assistance. The completion is expected by 2025.

 

Collaborate and assist the AWP Champion/AWP Group Leader to implement the AWP Methodology and deliverables on the assigned projects.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Participate during the definition of the Project AWP plan, together with the AWP Champion and participate to the related implementation, as requested by the AWP Champion/ AWP Group Leader.

  • Participate in the development of Path of Construction and Construction Schedule, following up the relevant Action list.

  • Prepare project documentation related to AWP, gathering information from the other relevant technical disciplines, for further finalization with the AWP Champion/ AWP Group Leader.

  • Set up the tools managing AWP within the assigned project/s

  • Prepare the information flow on EWP and PWP for the related application on the Site.

  • Assist AWP Champion/AWP Group Leader in monitoring the AWP implementation within AWP Project Plan.

  • Supports AWP Champion and AWP Group Leader for Advanced Work Packaging practices and procedures, for the continuous improvement of the methodology.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

  • At least 10 years of Relevant experience in construction of large Oil & Gas plants/ EPC projects.
