Job summary/Role description

Electrical Supervisor reports to E&I Manager. They direct SUPPLIER activities for their own discipline, ensuring that Electrical Construction works are performed according to the schedules and PROJECT documents, within the assigned cost budget, and according to Quality & Safety procedures, as well as according to the terms and conditions of the contract. One or more assistants may support them.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Acting as Supervision Inspector for electrical works package as per requirements.

  • Responsible for relevant entries in construction site log

  • Assuring that the electrical works are executed according to the design documentation and building permit.

  • Coordination and supervision over subcontractors – if required.

  • Quality control over electrical works executed.

  • Monitoring if construction works are carried out according to the schedule.

  • Responsible for handover procedures for completed works

  • Applying quality control policy.

  • Taking part in on-site coordination meetings

  • Significant experience as electrical supervisor (inspector) on large-sized, complex, industrial projects is essential

  • Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams

  • Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.

  • Technical awareness of Gas Turbines or Centrifugal Compressors or Reciprocating Compressors or Steam Turbines and their auxiliaries

  • Additional experience covering E&I scope is highly desirable.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

Experience

  • Similar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size;

  • Relevant experience in Petrochemical sector/EPC projects large PDH plants;

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in the specific discipline;

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent English;

  • Excellent IT and analytical skills;

  • Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills;

  • Attention to details;

  • Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
