Job summary/Role description

Interface Coordinator is responsible for overall management Permitting, Engineering Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning stages and in charge to identify stakeholders, structure a matrix, monitor and keep relationship with several parties who have a direct or indirect role during the execution of the project.

 

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Obtain the required NOC's from government entities in accordance to the Project NOC/Permitting Plan.

  • Monitor and update the status of all Design and Construction NOCs Report including the Project Interface Management Plan Docs.

  • Communicate and coordinate with External Parties the required HSE Induction, Passes, permits within Green and Brown field Sites.

  • Initiate, Maintain and update the Log of Permits, NOCs, Passes of COMPANY team along with Subcontractors team.

  • Ensuring that the project objectives and requirements defined by the PTW of Company and External Parties and interface-related matters are being implemented.

  • Prepare and maintain the required Permits inside Green Field and Brown Field Sites for Company and Subcontractors Works

  • Coordination with clients and government agencies for all the required NOCs/Permits in prior coordination with the Interface Manager.  

  • Managing Sub Contractors submissions of all required Permits/NOCs and Passes.

  • Monitor, and coordinate all external and internal interface agreements and ensure that a comprehensive, multi-discipline review of all Interface agreement requests, responses, to and from the various parties/stakeholders, meets requirements and schedule.

  • Understand overall picture of the existing Plants Operation, coordinate with all the concerned parties and support Project Manager to sequence Project Execution in the most efficient and without much disturbing the plant’s performance and output.

  • Schedule and Attend interface meetings with internal and external parties including plant OME Operation and Maintenance to follow up the relevant actions with until its closeout.

  • Coordinate with Project Planning, Engineering and Construction team for SoW execution and highlight interface aspects of the Project Execution and requirement of any Interface Tie-in data to be included in the Construction/Engineering Package for Subcontractors.

  • Report to Interface Manager and Communicate with Construction Team on any potential problems.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

  • Significant l experience in industrial construction of Large/XL Gas plants;

  • Similar role covered at least in last three projects(inside UAE-ADNOC-preferable), of comparable size;

  • Minimum five (10) years of relevant experience;

  • Experience working on Contractor side

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written & oral communication in English language.

  • Proactive & self-motivated

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team

  • Good numerical skills

  • Well versed in Microsoft office skills
