Job summary/Role description

Kinetics Technology has been awarded a contract by Motor Oil Hellas for the realization of a New Propylene Storage System and the interconnecting different MOH Refinery Units and the existing Refinery Jetty area, as part of the expansion of Corinth Refineries in Greece.

Piping Supervisor, PIS is responsible for the coordination of Mechanical Construction for piping activities.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Direct management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s) for piping;

  • Guarantee the quality of the works and their compliance with the contractual/engineering requirements of the project satisfying the assigned budget, time schedule quality, safety and environmental;

  • Ensure that their performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost

  • Coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance of Mechanical Piping Superintendent;

  • Participate to the elaboration of work schedule and to the collection of the progress of the works and analyse any deviations.

  • Ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities;

  • Directly participates to the HSE activities at site.

  • Perform feasibility analysis by the Company software system;

  • Execute activities such as piping feasibility analysis;

  • Create and issue MIR (Material Issue Reports) based on material requisitions prepared by the construction team and SubContractors in SPMAT

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

Experience

  • Similar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size;

  • Proven past experience on Civil and Building construction activities;

  • Strong knowledge of SPMAT (Marian);

  • Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of industrial/Refinery sector/EPC projects large plants;

  • At least 5 years of experience in the specific discipline;

  • Experience working on Contractor side.

  • Fluent English;

  • Excellent IT and analytical skills;

  • Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills;

  • Attention to details;

  • Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
