Job summary/Role description

Responsible for overseeing the meticulous inspection, quality assurance, and efficient installation of precast components.

 

Ensures compliance with industry standards, meeting project schedules, and contributing to the success of the organization.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of precast materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

 

  • Implement and enforce stringent quality control measures to ensure the precision and durability of precast components.

 

  • Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate the timely and efficient installation of precast elements, aligning with project schedules and meeting industry standards.

 

  • Provide technical expertise to address engineering challenges specific to the oil and gas sector, optimizing the construction process.

 

  • Review and interpret project documents, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precast elements meet design requirements and performance criteria.

 

  • Document and communicate any deviations from the original plans, collaborating with project managers to address and resolve issues.

 

  • Monitor and control costs associated with precast construction within the allocated budget.

 

  • Proactively address delays, optimizing construction timelines and milestones to meet project objectives.

 

  • Uphold and enforce safety protocols and industry standards, ensuring a secure working environment for all personnel involved in oil and gas projects.

 

 

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent

Experience

  • 10-15 years of experience in a relevant discipline.

  • Similar role covered in the last three projects, must be of a comparable size.

  • Experience working on the Contractor side.

  • Skill in identifying and resolving complex engineering challenges.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
