Job summary/Role
description
|
|
We are looking for a
Systems Engineer to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our IT
infrastructure and Company Device for Tecnimont Chile. You will be part of a
team of engineers that demonstrate competency, delivering mission critical
infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance
and security. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT,
cybersecurity and computer systems engineering.

Duties and
responsibilities
|
- Manage, Inventory and monitor all installed systems
and infrastructure at Site & Branch
- Install, Configure and maintain Company IT hardware
device,
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating
systems, application software and system management tools,
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and
infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for
potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work to
implement fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Participate in the design of information and
operational support systems
- Provide support to End-User at every level
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for
problem resolution
- Coordination with Company Headquarter to receive
tasks and guidance

Knowledge &
Qualifications
|
- University Degree
or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
|
|
Experience
|
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
(Windows 10,11)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Domain infrastructure (AD,
Forest, DNS, DHCP)
- Knowledge of Cisco network devices (routers,
switches, firewall, access points)
- Knowledge of network infrastructures
- Proactive, Kind and calm person able to
face IT problems in the right way. Able in dealing with colleagues,
Clients and all end-users.

- Native Spanish speaker;
- Fluent English;
- Excellent IT and analytical skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent communications skills,
team-oriented and interpersonal skills;
