Job summary/Role description

TM and TM Arabia Limited have been awarded two lump-sum turn-key EPC contracts related to a petrochemical expansion at the SATORP Refinery (a JV composed of Saudi Aramco and Total Energies), in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

The overall value of the contracts is approximately USD 2 billion. The contracts relate to the execution of two packages of the complex, namely the “Derivatives Units” package - which includes a butadiene extraction unit, an olefin extraction unit, a methyl tert-butyl ether unit, a butadiene selective hydrogenation unit, a 2nd stage pygas hydrogenation unit and benzene & toluene extraction unit - and the “High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) & Logistic Area” package, which includes two polyethylene units and the relevant product logistic facilities.

 

The project’s scope of work entails complete engineering services, equipment and material supply, construction activities, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, and shall have a duration of approximately 4 years.

 

He reports to the Logistic & Administration Manager and avails of a Logistic and Administration structure. He ensures ALA (logistic assistants) will carry out their responsibilities.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • To prepare routine estimates of local expenses in Site;

  • To keep Field Cash and daybook;

  • To co-ordinate the organization of Site logistics and camp, if any;

  • To assist arriving and departing personnel, including those of suppliers and licensers (tickets, bookings, passport, visas and transport);

  • To make minor local purchases for Site needs;

  • To ensure the management and co-ordination of vehicles and personnel transport systems;

  • To prepare personnel time sheet cards and send the same to Head Office.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the specific discipline;

  • Similar role covered in last three projects of comparable size;

  • Experience working on Contractor side.

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent English;

  • Excellent IT and analytical skills;

  • Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills;

  • Attention to details;

  • Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
