Job summary/Role description

HR Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for Management & Employees for all HR related questions and supports and advises various functions at the Site on a remote location in close collaboration with the HQ HR teams based in Milan as well as branch office in Abu Dhabi.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure the management of the Human Resources is performed in compliance with the standards and policies of the Employer, and the applicable provisions of the UAE labour and tax laws.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure all HR workflow processes run smoothly.
  • Maintaining employee files and paperwork and ensure all the documents are aligned with the local legal requirements and updated regularly based on organizational changes.
  • Implement and maintain up-to date, functional onboarding system.
  • Support recruitment and selection process.
  • Collate and execute monthly payroll with support of the payroll management provider. Ensure that the payslips are prepared, and payments are made in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Manage the process of redundancy, grievance and discipline investigations, hearings, and sick absence issues.
  • Ensure that work visas and other permissive documents are obtained in accordance with the Company’s needs and in accordance with the regulatory requirements.
  • Generate and update a reporting system on the status of the immigration process.
  • Ensure smooth logistic operations such as organization of travels for employees, as well as meet and greet for departures and arrivals, local transportation in compliance with the Company’s rules.
  • Ensure the HR systems are properly and timely populated and provide regular and ad-hoc reports for the needs of the Headquarters and the project. 

 

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of compensation and benefits packages.

 Experience

  • Strong HR generalist experience.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Human Resource discipline.
  • Working in an international and matrix organization is highly required.
  • Strong hands on and can-do attitude, result-driven and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication skills – ability to work alongside the senior management team as well as the wider business.
