Job summary/Role description
|
He supports
the Commissioning manager in the activities of planning, execution,
documentation preparation and hand over to the Client of the Control systems
as per project requirements.
He
cooperates with the Commissioning Superintendent in the implementation of the
procedures relevant to his area of responsibility.
He operates in compliance with the quality requirements,
health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.

Duties and responsibilities
|
Define the
daily activities and develop the day-by-day planning following the priorities
indicated by the commissioning manager. Assign the
tasks to the Control Systems Specialist and to the Control Systems Engineers. Ensure that
all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are carried out according
to stated procedures and agreed schedule. Ensure that
quality standards and safety procedures are being followed by commissioning
staff, including adherence to work permit requirements. In
coordination with the CLC and the Commissioning manager, contributes to the
development and implementation of the commissioning plan which considers all
the constraints to optimize the overall project schedule. Liaise with
Client Project Team, Project Management, Subcontractors, Vendors'
Representatives. Propose to
the Commissioning Manager and CVC the needs for mobilization of Vendors
specialists. Organize and follow up in field all the activities required to
implement the Vendors requirements and activities at Site. Support the
QA Site in implementing the handover system and preparing the Commissioning
Documentation Dossier for hand over to the Client for the records of the
systems related activities (Systems SAT, Interlock checking, etc.). Attend the
Pre-Startup-Safety-Review (PSSR) activities. Develop and
foster working relationship with Client Operation Personnel in order to
enable a seamless handover. Can be the
authorized person designated by the site manager to receive or issue a Permit. To Work
according to the project Permit to Work Procedure. Ensure the
logging of forcing and bypasses as required by Commissioning Superintendent,
during the commission activities, and their removal when released.

Knowledge & Qualifications

Experience
|
Relevant
experience in construction/modernization of Industrial sector/ EPC projects
large petrochemical plants; At least 5
years of experience in the specific discipline; Similar
role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size;
|
Skills and Abilities
|
Fluent
English; Excellent
IT and analytical skills; Excellent
communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills; Attention
to details; Self-motivation
and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
