Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced International People Management Specialist to oversee the reward process and negotiation for international skilled staff to be mobilized to various sites across the globe. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of people management, including onboarding, and employee relations for our international workforce.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for attracting and retaining top international talent

 

  • Coordinate the negotiation process for international skilled staff, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions

  • Assess and evaluate the various aspects of the compensation and benefits packages for international staff, ensuring they are competitive and in line with company policies and industry standards

  •  Negotiate employment contracts with international staff, taking into account local laws, regulations, and immigrations

  • Manage employee relations issues for international staff, including addressing grievances, conflicts, and performance issues

  • Coordinate training and development initiatives for international staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for international staff, including arranging visas, accommodation, and other logistical support

  • Stay up-to-date on international labour laws, regulations, and best practices, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements

 

  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics and KPIs related to international staff, and make recommendations for continuous improvement

 

 

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in international people management, preferably in a global organization

  • Strong knowledge of international HR practices, laws, and regulations

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Proficiency in relevant HR software and tools
