We are looking for talented and brilliant Subcontracts Administration Manager in our expanding Permanent Staff that will take part in a long-term development path with MAIRE group full of thriving opportunities.

Job summary/Role description

  • Initially based in the Home Office, the Subcontracts Administration Manager supports pre-award activities during project setup and later manages contractual relationships with Construction Subcontractors at the site. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, supporting project roles in contract interpretation and management, and coordinating project needs with company requirements from project initiation to close-out.

Activities and main responsibilities

  • Conduct meetings at the site to instruct Subcontractors on administration procedures.
  • Develop a subcontract management strategy by understanding subcontracts, annexes, price breakdowns, and project schedules.
  • Identify and analyze subcontract criticalities in coordination with the Contract Manager and the Subcontract Administration Management Function.
  • Manage and monitor correspondence with Subcontractors to protect the company's contractual position and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and proper filing of all relevant documents.
  • Review and approve Subcontractor's Interim and Final Progress Payment Certificates, ensuring adherence to procedures and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Oversee the correct application of unit prices and accuracy of accounting.
  • Coordinate the processing of extra works, new unit prices, claims, back-charges, liquidated damages, and close-outs.
  • Compile and manage Subcontractor dossiers and ensure receipt of all required insurances and documents.
  • Prepare and issue the Construction Subcontracts Administration Monthly Report.
  • Assist in resolving disagreements with Subcontractors and participate in site meetings as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate transmission of subcontract revisions and evaluations of Subcontractor performance.
  • Supervise assigned Subcontracts Administration Engineers and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Contribute to the Group document system and Lessons Learnt collection for knowledge capitalization.
