Job summary/Role description
Site Planner Supervisor ensures Construction planning by controlling deviations and prepares the reports.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop the Construction Schedule within the period established in the Project Schedule.
- Prepare the standard man-hour estimates based on the design quantities and the established WBS.
- Feed Schedule with estimated standard Manhours to obtain the Progress Curves and Manpower Histograms.
- Ensure that the schedules developed by the Subcontractors, as per their contractual obligations, are in alignment with the Level 4 Construction Schedule.
- Perform schedule control at the cut-off dates and provide a forecast on completion dates especially if any adverse trends occur so that the recovery plan can be effectively enforced.
- Assess physical progress at the cut-off dates, taking note of any evidence of deviations from the baseline and suggesting the remedial actions, if any.
- Perform manpower control by collecting time sheets from the Subcontractors and compare the actual manpower against the planned, as per the baseline.
- Prepare the weekly/monthly Progress Report related to the Site activities in accordance with the Project Procedures.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
- University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
Experience
- Relevant experience in EPC projects: oil & gas, petrochemical sector.
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant discipline.
- Similar role covered in last three projects in KSA (ARAMCO preferably).
Skills and Abilities
- Fluent English.
- Primavera P6
- Excellent IT and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, excellent communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
