Job summary/Role description

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the completion of assigned engineering activities within the projects they are involved in. This includes tasks related to basic electrical system design, technical management of components or assemblies, and command and control of electrical power systems. Functionally, the Electrical Engineer reports to the Project Leader or Group Leader based on the specific requirements of the project, and hierarchically, to the Head of Department, focusing on hours worked and the quality of technical documentation.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Guarantee the quality of deliverables and ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of project contracts, satisfying the assigned budget and schedule.

  • Assist the Group Leader or the Head of Department in guaranteeing the application and continuous updating of departmental and company standards, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Attend technical training as needed and exchange experiences with colleagues within the Tecnimont Group for new design techniques.

  • Keep up-to-date with technical innovations specific to their discipline and transfer this knowledge to other specialists and engineers.

  • Monitor the market for state-of-the-art technologies, providing technical and commercial evaluations of new products, technologies, workflows, and applications.

  • Develop overall activities related to assigned tasks within projects, including producing specifications, reports, and other design documents, performing calculations, managing the supply of components and systems, and securing assistance, if required, during factory testing and start-up on site.

  • Specialize in high voltage systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and effective management of high voltage components and assemblies.

 

 

 

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

  • Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.

  • Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience working on the Contractor side.
