Job summary/Role description
|
|
To execute the Electrical Maintenance activities of the Plant, Utilities
and Offsite Installations
|
|
|
|
|
Duties and responsibilities
|
- To receive the work orders relative to the
electrical maintenance, to organize for the pertinent teams, material and
tools to carry out the job, strictly under PTW procedure.
- To check periodically all the electrical
installation including their operating parameters
- To ensure that Maintenance resources,
subcontractors and vendors are available and fit to the task.
- To ensure that spares are ready at hand and
staff has been briefed on the task expected.
- Raise a risk assessment case when further
Safety investigations are advisable.
- To strictly follow the OES (original equipment
supplier/manufacturer) instructions on maintenance and servicing of the
items. To ensure the presence of the vendor when
required.
- To ensure that the equipment to be maintained
has been mechanically, electrically and process isolated, instructing the
teams to post the pertinent warnings on the equipment.
- To ensure the HSE presence as applicable from
the PTW.
- To ensure that the working team issues an
exhaustive report about the job carried out for CMMS purposes.
- To ensure to respect the timing provided for
the job, reporting eventual delays and deviations.
- To monitor the frequency of failures on
similar electrical equipment, generators and motors reporting eventual
discrepancies.
- To regularly attend the morning meetings as
required.
- To Actively follow the Electrical W/S to be
adequately equipped and resource like fit to the purpose.
- To Maintain the testing and calibrating
equipment in good working order.
- To check that all electrical measurement
equipment is fit to the purpose and ready for use.
- To check that all cathodic protection
measurement equipment are reliable and in good working condition. Cooperate
with the cathodic protection specialist.
- To check the UPS systems for compliance with
the operating requirements .
- To make sure that all electrical crews have
received the right HSE training.
- To make sure that all electric Supervisors and
specialist have valid licenses to carry out their job.
To
actively interface with Management/Company, Local Authorities and users for
Power availability and distribution issues

- Experiences in Refinery operation
- Plant for the gas treatment
