Job Description/Role Summary

Planning Engineer will perform all the activities pertaining to the planning / reporting within a Project (or part thereof) of any size and complexity, under the supervision of the Project Control Manager and the Planning Senior Engineer, in full compliance with their indications and the Contract, the Company’s quality requirements and Project Execution Plan, WBS and Schedules. To be accountable for the correct implementation/update of the Project Schedule for the assigned portion according to the received indication /assignments and the requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Preparation of all field project planning activities in accordance with the Company’s procedures under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer, if present.

  • To closely work with Construction Sub-contractor during the development of their Contract Level 3 & 4 Schedules and manpower histograms to ensure compliance with all Project Milestones, critical interfaces and adherence to the Project Control Procedures under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer.

  • Check the feasibility of construction schedules with the scheduled deliveries of documentation, materials and updated information received from Home Office under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer.

  • Constantly monitoring the performance of Subcontractors in terms of efficiency, progress, and resources under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer.

  • Provide feedback to the responsible of Planning. about problems/deviations arising from application of standard methods and work instructions and tools, to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.

  • Keep himself/herself up to date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline.
