Job summary/Role description

Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. announces that its subsidiaries Tecnimont S.p.A. and Tecnimont Arabia Limited have been awarded by Advanced Global Investment Company (AGIC) a package of the Integrated PDH-PP complex project, relating to the realization of two Polypropylene Units on an Engineering Procurement and Construction Lump Sum Turn-Key basis.

 

The total contract value is approximately USD 500 million. The project scope of work entails complete engineering services, equipment and out of kingdom material supply (to be performed by Tecnimont) and in kingdom material supply, erection and construction activities up to start up and guarantee test run (to be performed by Tecnimont Arabia Limited).

The two Polypropylene Units will have a capacity of 400,000 tons per year each and will be located inside the Integrated PDH-PP (propane dehydrogenation - polypropylene) complex in Jubail Industrial City II, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

Site Planner ensures Construction planning by controlling deviations and prepares the reports.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  •  Develop the Construction Schedule within the period established in the Project Schedule.
  • Prepare the standard man-hour estimates based on the design quantities and the established WBS.
  • Feed Schedule with estimated standard Manhours to obtain the Progress Curves and Manpower Histograms.
  • Ensure that the schedules developed by the Subcontractors, as per their contractual obligations, are in alignment with the Level 4 Construction Schedule.
  • Perform schedule control at the cut-off dates and provide a forecast on completion dates especially if any adverse trends occur so that the recovery plan can be effectively enforced.
  • Assess physical progress at the cut-off dates, taking note of any evidence of deviations from the baseline and suggesting the remedial actions, if any.
  • Perform manpower control by collecting time sheets from the Subcontractors and compare the actual manpower against the planned, as per the baseline.
  • Prepare the weekly/monthly Progress Report related to the Site activities in accordance with the Project Procedures.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

  • Relevant experience in EPC projects: oil & gas, petrochemical sector.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Similar role covered in last three projects in KSA (ARAMCO preferably)
