Job summary/Role description |

The project is planning the expansion of the existing Hamburg Refinery, by adding the following process units and facilities: HVO Unit, pre-treatment Unit, tank farm balance (tanks partially supplied by others), interconnecting lines, new electrical substation and rack room, interconnecting cables between new substation building and existing substation and control room. We have an opening for an IT Coordinator.
Provide IT support to the Users, with respect to the internal procedures, in close coordination with the IT colleagues to solve problems. He/She also installs and configures computer systems, provides diagnose hardware and software faults, solves technical and application problems in order to keep computer systems running smoothly and to ensure users get the maximum benefit from them. |

Duties and responsibilities |
|
Following the guidelines of the Group ICT, the IT Site Engineer has the following main responsibilities: • Assist employees to use their IT equipment; • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues; • Physical set up of computers and software system installation for various computer applications and programs; • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications, also providing the related support (e.g.: troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults); • Respond to user needs and questions regarding network access; • Provide support including technical guidelines shared within the Function; • Test of computers and ensure that computer systems are functioning properly; • Discuss with the other colleagues who work on the PCs in order to figure out how to help solve the issues; • Maintain and upgrade computer systems; • Maintain other computer peripheral devices (e.g.: printers and solving printing problems if they arise); • Support the roll-out of new hardware and applications; • Respond within SLAs to reported requests and incidents; • Keep records of all IT company assets; • Provide support via remote assistance tools to other Group Companies; • Coordinate the computer maintenance with the other Information Technology colleagues (e.g., Network Operations staff); • Carry out other duties as may be requested by the head quarter Group ICT |
