Job summary/Role description
  • The Mechanical Supervisor – Pipeline (PIS) is responsible for the coordination of Mechanical Construction for pipeline activities.

Activities and main responsibilities
  • Supervision of Contractors: Direct the management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s) responsible for pipeline construction activities.
  • Quality and Compliance: Guarantee the quality of the works and their compliance with the contractual/engineering requirements of the project, satisfying the assigned budget, time schedule, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Ensure the performance of subcontractors is carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality, and cost. Coordinate necessary recovery actions whenever deviations from schedule or specifications are detected under the guidance of the Mechanical Pipeline Superintendent.
  • Schedule and Progress: Participate in the elaboration of work schedules, monitor progress, and analyze any deviations from the baseline.
  • HSE Compliance: Ensure the implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities under their responsibility.
  • Direct HSE Activities: Actively participate in HSE activities at the site as defined for the PLS position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.
