Job summary/Role description

Interface Coordinator is responsible for overall management Permitting, Engineering Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning stages and in charge to identify stakeholders, structure a matrix, monitor and keep relationship with several parties who have a direct or indirect role during the execution of the project.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible to check and the correct management of the Project documentation, of the amendments and/or additions to the same.

  • Management, development and keeping updated an interface matrix, including time scheduling of the events, providing support to Site Management facilitating the execution of all events involving more parties/interfaces or authorities;

  • Management of the Project documentation, of the amendments and/or additions to the same;

  • Cooperation with the Site Manager and the Construction Manager in verifying the feasibility of the construction schedule on the ground of the actual availability at Site of technical documentation and materials;

  • To ensure an overall technical coordination between the various engineering centers of the project (especially Headquarters and construction site, but also other group companies, sub-contractors and partners involved in the project);

  • Supervision/coordination of multidisciplinary engineering and further critical activities in accordance with a budget and project schedule;

  • Interface, coordination and support of technical engineering disciplines;

  • Insurance of the quality of the multidisciplinary project documents in accordance with contractual requirements and in compliance within the assigned budget and time schedule;

  • Support in the definition of the technical choices during all the project phases, identifying the most valid technical/economical/timing design solutions and ensuring their completeness and correctness on the basis of the contractual guidelines and specifications;

  • Coordination with Local Authorities who manage public roads and traffic;

 

 

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

Experience

  • Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of industrial/Refinery sector/EPC projects large plants;

  • At least 5 years of experience in the specific discipline;

  • Experience working on Contractor side.

  • Fluent English;

  • Excellent IT and analytical skills;

  • Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills;

  • Attention to details;

  • Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
