Job summary/Role description

Construction Civil Superintendent (CVP) is responsible for the coordinating civil and building construction activities through the Civil Supervisor (CVS) and related assistants.

Duties and responsibilities

• Management of Civil Subcontractor(s): Ensure that performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost;
• Coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever deviations from schedule or specifications are detected, under the guidance of Construction manager.
• Ensure the implementation of all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities;
• Participate in site HSE activities as defined for this position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

• University Degree or Diploma in Civil discipline or equivalent  

Experience

• Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or xl gas plants.

• Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

• Experience working on the Contractor side.
