Job
summary/Role description
|
Rotating Equipment Supervisor (MAS) coordinates all equipment erection
and maintenance activities, as well as manages equipment erection
subcontractors, ensuring that their performance is in terms of schedule,
quality and cost, and coordinates all necessary recovery actions if any
deviation from schedule or specifications is detected.

Duties and responsibilities
|
Supervises
the installation of all equipment, carries out all alignment and plumbing
checks. Checks
the execution of the works, which must be in accordance with technical
documentation, work progress, applicable codes and rules and takes action to
correct any deficiency. Ensures
that a Subcontractor works on installation of all equipment types following
the company’s approved policy and politics. Co-operates
with Mechanical Engineer on all equipment drawings for shipping stops and
supports, check on possible testing and timing of removal before or after the
test. Checks
material quality, supervises that all field tests are following project
technical documents and applicable codes and specifications. Maintains the
record of all tests. Identifies
possible non-conformities following the Quality Assurance System Procedure. Assures
that all works are carried out on schedule. Verifies
and discusses eventual modification or any difference raised and takes part
in issuing Sketches Layout (SKL) for the relevant modification when works
must be executed in a different way as indicated on drawings. Records
all modifications on the master copy of drawings, for the issue of “AS BUILT”
drawings. Prepares/checks
the Subcontractor's monthly/weekly progress of work and transmit relevant
data to Project Control. Checks
acceptance forms for performed work. Ensures
that Subcontractor is provided with all required engineering documents and materials
and has access to works area. Ensure
that all QC activities (type and extension) are executed in due time
according to relevant Site Work Instruction and applicable codes and
specifications. Prepare,
issue to the Subcontractor, and file Construction and Final Punch Lists, and
follow up the completion of relevant outstanding works.

Knowledge
& Qualifications
|

Experience
|
Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL
gas plants. Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size. A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience. Experience working on the Contractor side.

toward timely performance and problem resolution.
