Job summary/Role description

To carry on search & selection processes for new resources. To care hiring and termination processes. To keep tuned functional responsible about their relevant personnel issues. To care HR budgeting process. To manage job changes, promotions, salary increases, grievances, disciplinary procedures.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

HR Searching process:

  • To keep updated the budget systems (LCB), by discussing with relevant operational functions.

  • To collect relevant and appropriate authorization in order to start the hiring process

  • To define with relevant functional responsible the appropriate requested skills for the new positions, by arranging the Job description also

  • To cooperate with Organization Dept in order to define appropriate job family and job title

  • To propose an appropriate level of compensation and contractual conditions, by getting relevant approvals

  • To search adequate candidate, by using different and appropriate channel accordingly the specific needs (Job Posting Portal, internet search providers, headhunters, job agencies, job fairies, etc.)

  • To interview candidates and provide proper judgment before arranging a proposal

HR management

  • To arrange and collect all documents necessary to install the work relationship

  • To cooperate with Personnel Administration for the payroll operation and proper tuning

  • To To arrange letter and other document when necessary, during the work relationships (confirmation, promotion, change of job/seat/assignment, grievances, working time, etc.)

  • To prepare materials for HR evaluation, salary management, etc.

  • To take care of possible disciplinary process, in accordance to the Law prescriptions

HR termination process

  • To manage resignation and dismissals

  • To interview the resigning person to get the reason and report them to relevant responsible

  • To When necessary, propose and arrange possible retention actions

  • To arrange proper documents for retirees, resigning and dismissed people.

 

 

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • A university degree in HR discipline or related field 
  • Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and practice is required 
  • Sound knowledge of compensation and benefits packages 
  • CIPD qualification (Preferable)

Experience

  • Strong HR generalist experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resource discipline 
  • Working in an international and matrix organization is highly required
  • Strong hands on and can-do attitude, result-driven and influencing skills
  • Strong communication skills – ability to work alongside the senior management team as well as the wider business

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent English;
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and analytical skills;
  • Attention to detail, excellent communications skills; 
  • Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
