Job summary/Role description

TM and TM Arabia Limited have been awarded two lump-sum turn-key EPC contracts related to a petrochemical expansion at the SATORP Refinery (a JV composed of Saudi Aramco and Total Energies), in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The overall value of the contracts is approximately USD 2 billion. The project’s scope of work entails complete engineering services, equipment and material supply, construction activities, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, and shall have a duration of approximately 4 years.

 

The LEAP Operator is responsible for monitoring and managing the LEAP (Artificial Intelligent Safety Monitoring System) within the control center. This role involves real-time surveillance of safety conditions, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols to prevent accidents and incidents on-site.

 

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • System Monitoring: Continuously monitor the LEAP system to detect unsafe acts and conditions in real-time. This includes surveillance of high-risk areas, vehicle movements, and personnel activities.
  • Hazard Identification: Utilize AI-driven analytics to identify potential safety hazards and intervene promptly to mitigate risks.
  • Incident Response: Respond to safety alerts generated by the LEAP system, coordinating with on-site safety personnel to address and resolve issues.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data collected by the LEAP system to identify trends and areas for improvement in safety practices.
  • Reporting: Generate and maintain detailed reports on safety incidents, system performance, and corrective actions taken.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with HSE managers, site supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to safety management.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure the LEAP system is functioning optimally by performing regular checks and coordinating with technical support for any required maintenance or updates.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably with experience in using AI-driven safety monitoring systems.

Skills and Abilities

    • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
    • Proficiency in using AI and surveillance systems.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to safety alerts.
