Job Responsibilities:

Key Point

Job Summary: 

 

We are looking for a Business Development Analyst with the mission to support the responsible in increasing sales opportunities, grow business and prospect for new clients by performing intelligence and analysis activities, with a particular focus on market, competitive, industry and regulatory topics and preparation of relevant business development reports and documents.

 



Key Point

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen the reference markets and carry out market analyses by segments and by regions, including but not limited to the industrial, economic and legal aspects.

  • Carry out competition and industry analyses.

  • Maintain, share and make available documentation related to the current and expected market conditions.

  • Support in the definition of relevant market strategies by segment and by region.

  • Support in the identification of leads, development of sales pipeline and the development of commercial proposals.

  • Contribute to the definition of the marketing and sales plans for the technology solutions when reaching market readiness.

  • Contribute to the preparation of business development documents including but not limited to internal Memos, presentations, prequalification, feasibility studies and business plans etc.

  • Actively participate in events and training programs relevant to the discipline.



Key Point

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in chemical engineering or an equivalent technical/engineering background connected with relevant experience in (process) technology-driven business in Oil & Gas and/or Chemicals industries

  • At least 2/3 years of relevant experience in analyst or intelligence roles in the field of Oil&Gas and/or Chemicals business

  • At least 2/3 years of proven experience in commercial and/or business intelligence roles, preferably in the Middle East Region.,

  • Basic understanding of the energy transition dynamics (e.g. trends, markets, business drivers, KPIs, competitive landscape, technology developments) and international and regional regulatory context.

  • International business acumen and knowledge of geo-political trends.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Fluent in English is a must, proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

  • Very good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools

  • Strong analytical skills, broad technical understanding and proactive can-do mentality.

  • Team-oriented, self-motivated and open-minded, with a strong interest and curiosity to learn new topics, methodologies and perspectives.

  • Attention to detail and proven strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel  throughout the Middle East Region, when needed..
