Job summary/Role
description
|
- Operations Permit to Work Coordinator supports
the Operation Manager in managing the proper timing for execution of
activities such as: Closing of minor punch point; Planned preventive
maintenance; Breakdown maintenance.
- He/she ensures at site the implementation of
the procedures.
- He/she operates in compliance with the quality
requirements, health / environmental / safety regulations and
following the stated procedures.
- He/she needs to have a working knowledge of
industrial plants with emphasis on power plants and/or oil refineries.
- He/she reports to the Operation Manager.
- He/she is assigned to the Project by AVIMP Head
of Department.

Duties and responsibilities
|
Opening and closing of all Hot and Cold Works and
associated complementary permits. Ensuring the
working team is understanding and is working in compliance with all
the operating and safety requirements prior to start the work. Implementation
of all necessary locking measures, unlocking measures and isolations. Day to day
follow-up and overview of work permits within the assigned area. Coordinating
the timing of execution of the works to be carried out in order to
avoid interference or incompatibilities between the different teams
(construction + commissioning + production) working on site. Make daily
inspections on the assigned area to ensure respect of safety precautions and
working procedures. Facilitates
smooth operation of permit to work procedure.

Person Specification
|
Knowledge
& Qualifications
|
|
Experience
|
At least 10 years of
relevant experience in construction of large oil & gas plants/EPC
projects. ADNOC Approved is an
advantage. NEBOSH GC/IGC. Diploma in Safety or any other HSE Certification (considered at ADNOC Group discretion). Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent. Incident Investigation technique. Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.
