Job summary/Role description
|
- Site Cost Controller reports to the Site Control Manager.
|
|
|
Duties and responsibilities
|
- To perform cost control activities
related to cost type born at site, i.e. site management, construction works,
commissioning and start-up in full compliance with std. cost breakdown structure
and focusing on the estimate to completion portion.
- To expedite the current estimate
availability from the various disciplines at the periodical issues as
per the procedures.
- To support the site contract manager
during the evaluation of change orders related to site activities.
- To review the new prices, claims,
change orders submitted by subcontractors and evaluate any effects on
ETC, if any.
- To review back-charges and
extra-works to be applied to subcontractors and evaluate any effects on
ETC, if any.
- To provide cost allocation for the
cost accrued and not yet accounted for the various cost type as per CBS.
- To perform cost control activities
for the local purchase orders.
- To ensure appropriate CBS coding to
the invoices referred to local costs to obtain accounting reports
reflecting the CBS structure.
- To perform cost control activities
for all the manpower working on site (vendors included).
- To feed project management information
software (PMIS-Tagetik) for the portion related to site activities to
generate the synthesis monthly report (SMR).

Knowledge & Qualifications
|
- University Degree or Diploma in Engineering course.
|
Experience
|
- Minimum
of 10 years work experience.
- Significant
experience in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects / Refinery.
|
Skills and Abilities
|
Excellent communications
and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail,
management skills. Team-oriented skills,
self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and
problem resolution.
