Expediting and Inspection Coordinator

Reporting Line:
Reports to the Branch Procurement Manager and to the responsible of the Post Order Management Function Lead
Job Purpose:
To coordinate and monitor all expediting and inspection activities at suppliers and sub-suppliers, for assigned purchase orders in Egypt and/or in the neighboring countries, coordinating the activities with the Post Order Managers of the concerned Project, ensuring that materials, equipment, and documentation comply with contractual requirement, Company procedures, and project timelines and quality standards. The role supports post-order phases and interfaces with internal departments, project teams and third-party inspection agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and monitor expediting and inspection activities in alignment with project goals.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and project timelines.
Interface with the Inspection & Expediting Department and Logistics for supply follow-up and site delivery.
Review and discuss inspection and expediting reports with project teams.
Support corrective actions in case of delays or non-conformities.
Ensure proper resource allocation and performance monitoring of third-party inspection agencies.
Maintain and update departmental procedures and work instructions in coordination with Post Order Management.
Qualifications:
Technical diploma or engineering degree (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering or procurement roles, preferably within EPC or industrial projects in the Oil & Gas, energy, or manufacturing sectors
Familiarity with third-party inspection agencies and international standards.
Fluency in English.
Certifications such as CSWIP, API, NACE, ASNT are considered an asset.

Required Skills:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Experience with inspection planning / reporting tools and document management tools.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, welding, mechanical testing, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, ISO, API.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and QA documentation.
Knowledge of procurement and logistics workflows.
Availability to travel.
