Job
summary/Role description
|
The Deputy
Security Manager supports the Security Manager in the implementation,
monitoring, and continuous improvement of site security operations. The role
ensures that security activities are executed in compliance with company
policies, contractual obligations, and local regulations, and assumes
responsibility in the absence of the Security Manager.

Duties and responsibilities
|
Support the Security Manager in implementing and maintaining
security procedures, plans, and controls. Supervise daily security operations, including access control,
site protection, and movement control. Coordinate and monitor security subcontractors and guard
services to ensure compliance with approved requirements. Assist in managing security incidents, investigations and
emergency situations, ensuring proper escalation and reporting. Conducting security risk assessments and recommend mitigation
measures. Ensure security awareness and compliance among project
personnel. Liaise with site management, HSE and relevant authorities as
required. Prepare security reports, incident logs, and operational updates.

Person Specification
|
|
Knowledge
& Qualifications
|
University
degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Management, or a related
discipline (preferred). Professional
security certifications are an advantage.
|
|
Experience
|
Minimum 18
years of experience in security roles within EPC, oil & gas, or large
industrial projects. Experience in
site-based security operations and contractor supervision. Previous
experience as Deputy Security Manager, Security Supervisor, or Senior
Security Coordinator is preferred.

Skills and Abilities
|
Strong
leadership and coordination skills. Good judgment
and decision-making under pressure. Effective
communication and reporting skills. Proficient in
English (written and spoken).
