About the project/Role description

The project is planning the expansion of the existing Hamburg Refinery, by adding the following process units and facilities: HVO Unit, pre-treatment Unit, tank farm balance (tanks partially supplied by others), interconnecting lines, new electrical substation and rack room, interconnecting cables between new substation building and existing substation and control room.

He reports to the Site Contract Administrator. He is responsible for entering, in the specific Data Base, the works performed by Subcontractors and for detecting, both before and after, any deviation from expected quantities.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To prepare the Subcontractor’s accounts in accordance with the subcontract;
  •  To check that the accounts prepared by the Subcontractor are in line with contractual clauses, with Project documents and have been approved by the Discipline Supervisors;
  • To verify and check that all accounting documents have been duly approved and are accompanied where necessary by explanatory drawings and sketches;
  • To collect estimated quantities to completion and prepare the cost control tabulations.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

Experience

  • Similar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size;
  • Proven past experience on Civil and Building construction activities;
  • Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of industrial/Refinery sector/EPC projects large plants;
  • At least 5 years of experience in the specific discipline;
  • Experience working on Contractor side.
