Job
summary/Role description
|
- The Commissioning
Supervisor, COS, executes the activities pertaining to the commissioning
of an entire unit of the Plant. Operates in compliance with the quality
requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the
stated procedures.
|
|

|
|
Duties
and responsibilities
|
- Lead and insist on strict
adherence to Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures (LOTO), and policies;
- Assist in the development
of scoped packages for identified pre-commissioning activities, based on
commissioning requirements and available systems;
- Assist with coordination
and management of system walk downs with particular regard to
deficiencies and punch list prioritization;
- Perform construction
process assessments during system walk-downs and identify exceptions and
deficiencies;
- Perform commissioning and
testing of individual components, systems, and the station as a complete
integrated unit to meet all contractual obligations.

Knowledge
& Qualifications
|
- Strong technical,
supervisory and organizational skills.
|
|
Experience
|
- 10 years' experience in
pre-commissioning / CSU activities;
- 5 years in Field Supervisor
role, with prior experience in managing Field Service technicians at a
project site;
|
|
Skills
and Abilities
|
- Fluent English;
- Excellent IT and analytical
skills;
- Excellent communications
and interpersonal skills;
- Strong interpersonal,
team-oriented skills. Self-motivation and direction, with strong bias
toward timely performance and problem resolution;
- Attention to detail, and
the ability to read and draft blueprints (as-builts), negotiation /
customer relation skills, strong communications and interpersonal
skills, leadership skills.
