Job summary/Role description
|
- Assigned to a project, it
is responsible for carrying out the activities assigned by the
Environmental Leader, ensuring project quality and timelines.
The Environmental Engineer reports to the Environmental Leader on
project-specific matters and on the quality of the documentation
produced.
Tasks of varying technical complexity are assigned based on competence
and experience.
It may coordinate with other engineers and/or designers.

Duties and responsibilities
|
- Have strong understanding
of the Environmental issues, practices in the Oil & Gas
operations/EPC business.
- Sound understanding of the
HSE Management System and Environmental legislative requirements.
- Ability to develop and
implement Environment Management Plans.
- Ability to conduct
Environmental Monitoring.
- Ability to conduct
training/awareness sessions on relevant Environment related procedures
and standards.
- Ability to conduct
Environment audits and inspections.
- Ability to investigate
environment related incidents, identify immediate and root causes.
- Effective interpersonal and
verbal & written communication skills.

Person Specification
|
|
Knowledge & Qualifications
|
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering OR Environmental
Science (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant
academic degrees in the country of issue).
|
|
Experience
|
- Minimum 4-6 Years of experience in any industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing and implementing
Environmental aspects in projects/ operations / production in the oil
& gas or petro-chemical industries.
- NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH
Certificate for Environmental Management.
- ISO 14001 Internal or Lead
Auditor.
- Any other HSE
certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion).
- Other HSE Trainings /
Certifications will be added advantage.
