What we are looking for:

We are particularly interested in professionals who:

  • Are fluent in Spanish (mandatory) and English.
  • Have experience managing large industrial, EPC, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure construction sites.
  • Understand local South American construction environments, contractors, and regulations.
  • Are comfortable working in multicultural and international project teams.
  • Are willing to support projects across Argentina and other countries in the region when required.

Mission

Perform Administration, Finance & Control activities for the Company, supporting accounting, reporting, treasury, tax compliance and project operations in accordance with Group policies and local regulations.

Activities and main responsibilities

  • Following the guidelines of the Region AFC Coordinator and for the assigned geographic Country (Argentina), the AFC Specialist has the following main responsibilities:

  • Perform general accounting activities, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes;

  • Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for statutory financial statements, Group reporting packages and IFRS reporting in accordance with defined deadlines;

  • Support the Company Auditors for Company Group Reporting and Financial Statement review

  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including invoice review, vendor and customer reconciliations, collections follow-up and payment documentation;

  • Prepare bank reconciliations, monitor bank balances, support payment proposals and contribute to rolling cash-flow and liquidity forecasts;

  • Prepare and reconcile information required for direct and indirect tax compliance, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, turnover/gross receipts taxes, municipal taxes and withholding and collection regimes;

  • Review invoices and accounting documents for compliance with local fiscal requirements and maintain the tax calendar and supporting files for statutory submissions;

  • Maintain regular liaison with local tax advisors to ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.

  • Support tax audits, inspections, transfer-pricing documentation, intercompany reconciliations and requests from Group Fiscal Affairs, external advisors and auditors;

  • Support project accounting, cost and cash-flow monitoring, financial performance analysis and the preparation of reports for project and country management;

  • Apply Group AFC procedures and internal controls, maintain complete audit trails and promptly escalate issues, proposing practical corrective actions where applicable;

  • Remain informed on relevant accounting, financial and tax regulations and contribute to process improvements and accurate daily operations.
