  • COT supports the Commissioning Manager in the comprehensive planning, execution, preparation of documentation and handover of facilities to the Client according to project specifications. It ensures the implementation of procedures on-site, operating in strict adherence to quality standards, and health, environmental, and safety regulations while following prescribed procedures. In the absence of the Commissioning Manager, due to leave or business commitments, COT will assume the role of Commissioning Manager.

 

  • Depending on the project’s complexity, the Commissioning Superintendent might take charge of a single area, unit or the entire pre-commissioning process, under the direction of the Commissioning Manager (CMM). Additionally, COT is prepared to support the Operation Manager (COM) in the execution of operating duties if the Project requires this position to be staffed.

Job summary/Role description

  • The Mechanical Machinery Supervisor directs the Subcontractor activities in his own discipline, ensuring that Plant Construction works are performed according to the erection schedules and Project documents within the assigned cost budget, according to the Quality & Safety procedures as well as according to the terms and conditions of the subcontract.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Good understanding of P&ID and Mechanical Drawings, and understanding of battery limit of system and packages.
  • Capable to supervise/execute Equipment’s Alignment, Bolt torquing
  • Able to supervise and execute Lube oil Flushing and chemical cleaning activity.
  • Able to line up piping system and execute Pumps & Compressors Start-up and Mechanical run in
  • Ability to Lead the field team of Foreman and workers in the execution of the assigned daily task in an efficient manner
  • Good in communication skills and in dealing with commissioning operators at the time of inspection
  • Familiar with inspection and test programs and the inspection forms
  • Preparation of Risk assessment and JHA.
  • Ready to be a conscient Permit Holder by understanding site HSE rules and LOTO system

Degree in a relevant field or equivalent

Experience

  • Knowledgeable of Machinery equipment: Pumps, Compressors, and Mechanical Seals, Seal Arrangement and Piping Plan.

  • Experienced in preparing large motor for solo run test.
  • Minimum of 5 year's work experience.

Their main responsibilities are:

  • Coordinate with the Engineering Dept. the preparation of the engineering data base and follow the updating, in home office and at Site.

  • Relevant experience in 3 major EPC projects; oil & gas, petrochemical sector.

Job summary/Role description

He/she is fully responsible for the design development and integration of the whole Building activities within a project, reporting to PEM or, if present, to the Plant Design Manager, and may coordinate other Engineers, Specialist and Draftsmen. He/she leads, when deemed necessary, the relevant detail design activities and services connected to procurement, construction and commissioning of the disciplines within Buildings, as requested by the Head of Department.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Guarantee the quality of the documentation prepared relevant to all the Building technical disciplines, in accordance to the Project contractual requirements, the budget assigned and the schedule;

  • Prepare and discuss with the Project Team (Project Director/Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager) and with the Head of Department the execution strategy of the project (including the project schedule) and assure its application throughout the entire project life. For specific topics involving high level of expertise, the Building Design Project Leader is assisted by Group Leaders;

  • Guarantee the coordination with the other Project Leaders on the projects, and coordinate the different engineering centres involved (particularly TCMPL) for the Buildings activities, to ensure harmonization in processes and tools and to create a common approach;

  • Supervise the multi-disciplinary engineering activities of Buildings on the assigned projects and the related critical engineering cycles attaining to the contract’s budget, as well as to the project’s execution timing;

  • Report to PEM or to the Plant Design Manager, if present, concerning the status, planning and crucial issues of the activities she/he has been assigned to;

  • Interact with Client representatives and Vendors for all the technical topics impacting on the project both in time and costs;

  • Guarantee assistance to the inspection and construction departments upon request as per project needs;

  • Report to the Site Manager

  • The Construction manager coordinates all Discipline Supervisors in managing Subcontractor’s activities. In particular, she/he updates and develops detailed Construction schedules, optimizing sequences and limiting any overlapping. She/he replaces the Site Manager in the latter’s absence.
